IB Insurance Brokers

I.B. Insurance Brokers had more than 25 years of experience behind it, but its old website didn't show it. Clients from Coffs Harbour to Ballina, Kempsey, Moree, Inverell and Gunnedah needed a quick way to find out what the team could cover, who they'd be dealing with, and how to get help when something went wrong.

Insurance also comes with paperwork that has to be easy to find. The Financial Services Guide, complaints process and privacy policy all needed a clear home, and the team wanted their Steadfast and NIBA memberships up front where people would see them. Managing Director Clem also asked for a homepage with more impact than the usual stock photo of a handshake.

We designed the site in Figma first, working through the homepage with Clem until it had the bold opening he was after: an umbrella holding off a wrecking ball, with the line "When it comes to insurance, we've got it covered." The Steadfast and NIBA logos sit high on the page, and the four specialist areas (heavy motor, construction, earthmoving and commercial property) are the first thing visitors can click through to.

The Webflow build covers the company story, a Meet Our Team page with each broker's role and email, and an Available Policies page that sets out the full list of covers in plain terms. A Quality Assurance page brings together the Financial Services Guide, complaints and privacy documents and the Insurance Contracts Act information in one place.

Online Make a Claim and Request a Policy forms let clients start the process any time, not just during office hours. We took the content from the old site, rewrote it with local search in mind, and handled the page titles, descriptions and indexing at launch. The team was then set up in the Webflow Editor so they can keep their own details current.
