Manuka's websites needed a refresh. As the only haylage producer in Australia, the business had a product many horse owners hadn't come across before, and the old sites weren't doing enough to explain what it is or why it's worth trying.
The team needed to get the benefits of their products across clearly to two very different audiences, everyday horse owners and the resellers who stock them. They also wanted somewhere to share articles from experts in the field, building trust in the products and in Manuka's biological farming approach.
Rhythm Digital built two new mobile-friendly websites for Manuka, one for the main Manuka Chaff range and a second dedicated to Manuka Haylage, linked so visitors can move easily between the two.
The chaff site introduces the farm, its location at the head of the Liverpool Plains and the biological farming practices it has followed since 2000. Each product, from lucerne, wheaten and oaten chaff through to haylage, is laid out with easy-to-read details on its vitamin and nutrient content, so horse owners and resellers can compare what suits them.
The haylage site gives Manuka's most distinctive product room of its own, with a place to share articles from experts in horse nutrition and the wider industry.
Manuka now has two websites that explain its products clearly to horse owners and resellers alike. Customers can see exactly what goes into each feed and how it's grown, resellers have the details they need to stock it with confidence, and the farm has a home online for the expert knowledge that backs up its haylage.
