Western Victoria Vets is a family-owned mixed veterinary practice caring for pets, livestock and horses across Ararat, Beaufort and the surrounding district.
The old Ararat Vets site was a dated template build that was being shut down, with thin content across its service pages. With the business name, the domain and the clinic address all changing at once, Alex and Ali's top priority was holding on to the practice's place in Google as one of Ararat's two vet clinics.
They also wanted the site to properly reflect who they are: a true mixed practice in sheep and cattle country, ready to grow its large animal work, with a strong careers section to help attract vets and nurses to the region. Phone calls are how most clients get in touch, so the clinic numbers and opening hours needed to be front and centre.
Rhythm Digital designed and built the new site in Webflow around the Western Victoria Vets brand, with navy and white leading, olive and cream accents, and line-art animal illustrations carried through each section. The homepage opens with a clear welcome for existing Ararat Veterinary Clinic clients, and both clinic phone numbers sit at the top of every page.
Small animal, large animal and surgical services each have their own landing page, with detailed pages for everything from dog vaccinations to cattle pregnancy testing and worm egg counts. CMS collections run the team profiles, individual job listings, clinic news and FAQs, so the team can keep them up to date themselves. Dedicated Out of Hours Care and Payment Options pages cover the practical questions clients ask.
Behind the scenes, we mapped redirects from every old araratvets.com.au page to its new home, brought the Ararat domain under our management, wrote keyword-led page titles and set up Google Analytics and Search Console for the new domain.

Western Victoria Vets launched in August 2026, timed with the move into the new clinic. Clients searching for the old name or following old links land in the right place, and local families and farmers can see straight away that it's the same trusted team under a fresh name.
The practice now has a site that gives equal weight to the family dog and the back paddock, a careers section that shows what it's like to work in the district, and a news section ready to build its search presence over time. We continue to look after the site on our Hosting and Support Plan.
