Winanga-li is an Aboriginal-led community organisation delivering culturally safe education, care and support services for children and families across Gamilaraay Country, with locations in Gunnedah, Tamworth, Narrabri and Wee Waa.
Winanga-li had grown into a genuinely multi-service organisation: an early learning centre across four age-based rooms, family support programs from supported playgroups to youth justice and men's programs, accredited out of home care, therapeutic support and a language hub keeping Gamilaraay language strong. Their existing website couldn't carry all of that clearly.
Each service speaks to a different person - a parent looking at long day care, a family needing support, a young person, a caseworker, a community member after language resources. The site had to give each of them a clear path, while feeling culturally safe and unmistakably Winanga-li throughout.
Rhythm Digital built Winanga-li a new website structured around its services, so each area of the organisation's work - Early Learning, Family Support Programs, Out of Home Care, Therapeutic Support and the Language Hub - has its own clear home, with cultural design elements carried through the whole site.
The Gamilaraay Language Hub got particular care: a dedicated space for language resources, books and songs, including an online shop so community members anywhere can access materials that keep language strong. Gamilaraay language is woven into the site itself, including the navigation.
Underneath, the build gives Winanga-li's team a CMS they can manage themselves - news, programs and resources can all be updated in-house, so the site keeps pace with an organisation that's always doing more.

Winanga-li now has a website that matches the scale of what the organisation actually delivers across Gunnedah, Tamworth, Narrabri and Wee Waa. Families can find the right program and how to get involved, and the Language Hub gives Gamilaraay language resources a proper online home with the shop making them available well beyond the region.
For an organisation carrying this much for its community, the website now does its share of the lifting - answering questions, pointing people to the right service and telling the Winanga-li story the way it deserves to be told.
