Curley Cattle Transport is a family-owned livestock carrier based in Cloncurry, Queensland, running more than 50 road train units from eight depots across the state's north and west.
Curley's had built its name on word of mouth, long relationships with graziers and decades of support for local campdrafts and rodeos. But with depots spread from Normanton to Blackall, there was nowhere online that brought the whole business together. Producers looking for a carrier, and drivers looking for work, had to go on what they'd heard.
The team wanted a site that felt as personal as the business itself, warm and informative rather than corporate. It needed to cover their cattle transport services and safety record, give each depot its own presence, make it easy to apply for a job, and leave room to sell Curley caps and merchandise online.
We started with a copywriting meeting with the Curley team, then developed the website copy with them from their history, notes and an industry feature on the business. The design leans on Curley's green and big photos of the fleet working in cattle country, with headline numbers on the homepage: more than a million head carted and 2.5 million loaded kilometres travelled every year.
Each depot has its own page, built in the CMS, with its phone number, address and a map, so producers can deal with the depot closest to them. The careers section lists current positions and links to an online application form that asks applicants which depots they'd be happy to work from. The history page runs as a timeline down the centre of the page, styled like a road at the family's request, tracing the business from 1972 to today.
We also set up a Webflow online store for Curley merchandise, an In the Community page for the clubs and events they sponsor, and wrote page titles and descriptions for every page before launch.

Curley Cattle Transport now has a home online that matches its reputation on the road. Producers can see the full service and find their nearest depot, drivers can apply online, and the family story is told properly for the first time.
We've stayed on to look after the site since launch, adding the Mount Isa depot after Curley's bought Brennan Cattle Transport in 2023 and keeping the careers, depot and history sections up to date as the business grows.
