The Challenge

The Challenge

FCA's old website was a DIY Wix build that had fallen well behind the business. The photos and content were out of date, and several unfinished template pages were still live and showing up in Google, including a placeholder shop with sample products and prices. The real pages people needed, like memberships and the six week challenge, sat on odd web addresses and weren't linked from the menu, and the site had almost no search basics in place. Despite a five star Google rating, FCA wasn't showing on the first page for a search like "gym Tamworth".

Coop wanted something clean, modern and simple, with a strong landing page feel that reflected the studio and its Instagram style. The site needed to guide new members towards their next step, keep the timetable and bookings on the website rather than sending people off to another platform, and put the phone number front and centre, because the team does its best work talking enquiries through directly.

The Solution

The Solution

Coop was drawn to darker, bolder fitness brands, so we designed FCA a dark mode website with pops of the yellow and blue from his logo. The homepage opens with video shot in the studio, giving visitors an instant feel for the space and the training before they scroll. From there, the site walks people through FCA's three ways to train, LOAD, LIFT and PERFORMANCE, and what makes the studio different, with clear calls to book, view the timetable or call.

The site is built in Webflow, with CMS collections for classes, coaches, client stories, FAQs and membership plans, so Coop and Hunter can keep things current as the gym grows. Mindbody still runs FCA's bookings, memberships and payments, so we brought it into the site rather than replacing it. The live timetable sits right on the website, and each membership button goes straight to the matching Mindbody sign up.

Behind the scenes, we moved the site off Wix and onto FCA's new domain, retired the old placeholder pages, and set up page titles, meta descriptions, a proper heading structure, compressed images, Google Search Console and GA4, giving FCA a solid footing in local search.

The Result

The Result

First Class Athletic now has a website that feels like walking into the studio. Tamworth locals can see how FCA trains, check the live timetable, compare memberships and start their 21 day pass in a few taps, while the phone number is never far away for anyone who'd rather have a chat first. For Coop and Hunter, it's a site they can keep up to date themselves, with new coaches, classes and member stories easy to add as the crew keeps growing.
