Town & Country had built a loyal following in store, but customers outside Tamworth, or anyone who couldn't make it in during opening hours, had no easy way to shop the range. Deb wanted a store that matched the boutique's style and gave her the tools to keep products and prices up to date herself.
The store also needed to work hand in hand with the boutique's social media, where new arrivals are often shared first.
Rhythm Digital built the store on Shopify, customising a design around the boutique's soft, elegant look, with lifestyle imagery front and centre. Products are organised into collections by type and by brand, so customers can browse dresses, tops or jewellery, or head straight to their favourite label. A dedicated page lets customers request a private shopping appointment.
We set up payments and shipping, embedded the boutique's Instagram feed and connected the store to Facebook and Instagram so posts can link straight to products. We also set up Google Business, Google Analytics and SEO page titles and descriptions, and showed Deb how to manage the store herself.
Town & Country's store launched in June 2023, giving the boutique a second shopfront that's open around the clock. Deb and her team add new arrivals, update prices and manage stock themselves, and the store has grown to cover around twenty labels since launch.
The boutique can now share new pieces on social media and send customers straight to the product, whether they're in Tamworth or the other side of the country.
